Off-Site Destruction The material is shredded and completely destroyed beyond recognition, reconstruction and readability. Our machines can handle as much as 10,000 pounds per hour in a totally hands-off process. The obliterated material, if it is recyclable paper, will then be baled and shipped to paper mills to be pulped and remanufactured into new paper products. If the material is not recyclable, the material will be securely disposed of. Shred San Diego does not, and will not, sell our paper to packing companies for use as packing material.
